Our North Pole Experience 2010

While the stockings are no longer hung by our chimney and the Christmas season is over, I'd like to remind you that it is never too late to start planning your Christmas memories for 2011! We had the great pleasure of once again returning to the quaint, gorgeous little town of Greer and had a front row seat to seeing our children's delight as they entered Santa's Workshop. There is no better way than to kick off your holiday season by escaping to the cool pines, nestled in the tall beaming forest in a cozy cabin. This year, just as last, our family made some pretty spectacular memories at the North Pole Experience.

Tickets are already on sale for November-December 2011 with many of the dates already at a 25-30% occupancy. I know it's a little hard to plan so far in advance, but the NPX offers 100% refunds if cancelled before October 1st and they have a special layaway plan to spreadout the monthly payments over a few months.

Our family has truly fallen in love with the gorgeous town of Greer and have enjoyed several trips there in the last year. Don't just think that Christmas time is the only time of year to visit. Greer offers so much more to families. Right now, some of the State's best snowing is happening just 10 minutes from Greer. If you or your family are avid skiers, you simply must plan a trip and stay in one of the great cabins through the Historic Molly Butler's Lodge. Molly Buter was voted one of the best places to dine in Arizona. Choose from one of the 40 private cabins that are fully stocked with everything you will need.

And when you've had enough of the blazing triple digit heat in the valley, a simple 4.5 hour drive north east to Greer is exactly what you need. The evenings are cool and the days are perfect! Hiking, fishing, bike riding, horseback riding and relaxing.....it's all waiting in Greer.

You can read about our NPX visit last year here or our fun experience this year here. If you are considering a trip, and have some questions, leave a comment and I'll happily respond.

  1. Our Christmas Traditions include tree decorating, outside of house decorating, baking goodies, candy houses and spending time with family and friends. Also, my sons birthday is on the 22nd so we have a huge week long celebration, and creating new memories every year.
