Rapunzel - "Tuck Ins"

PLEASE NOTE: I have not experienced this yet. I have it scheduled. I'm just providing the information out to Mom's in case you reside in Arizona and are interested in scheduling Rapunzel to visit your house in April.

The movie Tangled is coming out soon and of course we will buy it - we loved the movie. But then a friend at dance told me about an amazing, fun opportunity that I knew we had to try out. Something I think that will leave a lasting memory for my daughter.

My friend has a friend of a friend (did you follow that) who works at DisneyWorld in Florida. She is a real life, honest to goodness Princess straight from the magic Kindgom and every so often she travels to Phoenix and while she's here does "Tuck Ins" where she comes to your house dressed as a Princess and reads your daughter a Disney story and tucks her into bed. How cute is that?? In conjunction with the highly favorable move Tangled, this April Rapunzel will be making her visits and bringing with her the Blu-Ray movie to leave as a present. The minute I received the coordinators information, I called and scheduled our Tuck In. I can hardly wait to have Brooke all ready for bed and have our surprise guest arrive. She is going to flip. Since I know many Mommy's who might be interested in scheduling this sweet surprise themselves, I thought I'd share the information with you. Considering the cost of the Tuck In includes a Blu-Ray, I think it's pretty good deal...I mean really what is the price of making a lasting memory and seeing the beaming smile on her face...it's Priceless! Below is the information:

TUCK INS INFORMATION

For those of you who have experienced or heard about our "Princess Tuck Ins" get ready for the next big thing!

Rapunzel is currently in production to be finished just in time to deliver the movie Tangeledupon its release!

Because we loved the movie so much, we knew it would be a great idea, but the response have been completedly overwhelming! Thanks to everyone who has expressed interest! It's such a compliment to us and we hope that we can share just a little bit more magic with you.

We have pre-selected 2 days in which we will be making deliveries. April 4th and April 5th in Phoenix, Arizona.

Here are just a few details for those who may not be familiar with this process and also a few notes and changes for this special occasion, along with some answers to frequently asked qestions.

Our "Tuck Ins" were created to give a magical experience with a princess where she comes to tuck your child in for bedtime. After working at Disney we had many requests from close friends and family for "visits" and particularly birthday parties. We found birthday parties to be difficult, time consuming, and costly for both parties. Tuck Ins gave us the chance to visit many people within a single night, gave us the opportunity to have one on one time, and avoided the hassles that generally come with larger groups. They have been highly successful and enjoyable.

Because Rapunzel will be delivering a movie, we have pushed the time slots up to earlier in the day to accommodate those who will surely want to watch the movie after she's left.

In the past, we've had visits with families who have chosen to make this special by inviting a few friends or cousins or maybe had an idea for a special tea party or something of that nature. This would be fine if you choose to do so.

She has had exact replica costumes made (with wigs). These costumes and wigs are Disney quality and are completely the same as meeting a princess in the park.

The cost for this specific experience will be $55. This price includes the Blu-ray/DVD combo version of Tangled. IF you would like the upgraded 4 Disc Combo which includes 1) 3D Blu-ray 2) Standard Blu-ray 3) DVD 4) Digital File coy, the cost will be $65 and you must let your coordinator know by Sunday, March 27th. If you have further questions about the moves, I will address some of those below or you can email.

A few notes:

Rapunzel will always have a coordinator or a "friend" with her. The friend will driver her to each home. You will receive a phone call to let you know if we are arriving ahead of or behind schedule. The coordinator will help with any questions upon arrivla. Some parents prefer that we "sneak" in to a specific place in the house and for this occasion, we would also be happy to just ring the doorbell. You can let us know as we arrive.

Please don't let your children watch us come or go. As you may know, we arrive by car. This takes away a little bit from the perception of magic.

Each visit will last approximately 15 minutes. Though it doesn't sound like much, children get more curius or more bored the longer a character sticks around. Based on our experience, this is just the right amount of time to make it sweet and magical.

These types of visits seem to work best when they are a surprise! It's great to prepare your children in any way you see fit, but letting the arrival of the princess be a surprise seems to work best.

Please pay the coordinator upon arrival.

We highly encourage princess pj's or in this case dress ups as well. Anything to make it more festive is always encouraged.

As I mentioned before, groups are fine. We do however, ask that you keep them fairly small. Six children is a reasonable amount, but can vary slightly. Keep in mind that one one time is harder to obtain in larger groups, and just takes away slightly from the experience.

Everything we do is REAL. We are very serious about preserving the magic for your child. Please do your best to support us.
